Who Am I?
Hi there! My name is Sam Carruthers, and I'm the founder of Northwest Passages and an Independent Travel Advisor under Inteletravel UK. I'm also currently in the process of gaining a Bachelor of Laws from Lancaster University. I love to travel, and having lived abroad in Canada and explored various destinations across the world, I understand how important a well-planned journey can be. That's why I created Northwest Passages - to offer a more personal approach to holiday planning.

I set up Northwest Passages because of my own penchant for travel; I've been to over ten countries and counting in as many years. I chose the name 'Northwest Passages' as a reference to both a popular Canadian folk song, an homage to my time there, and to my basis here in the beautiful Northwest of England. This business is my passion, so you can be sure that your satisfaction is my first priority.
